Plot holders are reminded that they are responsible for collecting visitors at the main gate and unaccompanied visitors are not allowed entry. If you are expecting a visitor, please ask them to wait patiently for you to collect/escort them off the site and advise they cannot be on site unless you collect them.
Plot holders are also reminded that they are ultimately responsible for the safety and conduct of visitors to their plot/the site and subject to the Society’s zero tolerance policy. As parking is very limited on site, please ask visitors to walk or cycle to the site if possible or if they arrive by car, to be considerate of local residents and not to block the main entrance while waiting in their car.
Children should be supervised by an adult at all times while on site. This means accompanying children through the main gate upon entering and leaving the site. Please do not allow children to enter, wander or leave the site if you are not there to supervise them – the site is not a playground and there is danger everywhere on the site including traffic on a single access road, still water and sharp garden tools.
Thank you for helping keep Southern Allotments a safe place for everyone to be.
