Southern Allotments are managed by the Southern Allotment Society committee made up from volunteer plot holders and who consult with our 140 plot holders to manage and organise the allotment site.

The committee’s duties include:

Plot lettings & plot inspections / management
Events & social activities
Managing & maintaining the communal facilities such as water supply, site access, toilet, community cabin

Overall responsibility for the site is through Manchester City Council.

We currently employ three official channels for communication – Website, email & Facebook (There is a private group which plot holders may join if they wish)
