We’ve been busy! And after very careful consideration of any nesting birds, the overhanging trees and hedging at the back of the site has now been cut back by Elmhouse. This will mean that the access road to and from the cemetery entrance gate will be safer to use and the slip hazard now resolved, still retaining the height needed to help security on the site. The light for plot holders on or near the rear of the site should improved also. A very big thank you to Anna Kushlick our Secretary, for persevering with this project (and all those committee members who contributed) – it’s been a VERY long Journey to finally get this completed as the trees & hedges do not sit on the allotment site and has involved many, many applications and site visits. Should be good now for a few more years 🙂
